Quality control of casting parts / DRM-40 / Double Hand Probe

The double hand probe DRM-4015 has two holds, each one supporting a current and a voltage contact, so that the measuring distance may vary up to 48 inches. With the DRM-4015, the measuring process is now so quick and simple that you can take all the readings you need in a short time. Also, its compact design allows you to reach very intricate measuring points.

Slip = more versatility

The double hand probe DRM-4015 has two holds, each one supporting a current and a voltage contact, so that the measuring distance may vary up to 48 inches.

When both holds are applied on the piece to be tested, the current starts flowing and the measurement is displayed automatically on the DRM-40.

Winding resistance measuring

The DRM-40’ motor mode enables the low currents used to saturate coils and windings in order to measure their resistance. Resistance value is then used to compare the windings of a three phases motor to check their balance, for example.

Short and sweet

With the DRM-4015, the measuring process is now so quick and simple that you can take all the readings you need in a short time. In addition, its compact design allows you to reach very intricate measuring points.

No more connection worries

The advantage of this probe is that its use is not limited by the distance between the measuring points, neither by the shape of the contact surface, because of the spring-mounted pins that are used. In addition, the distance between the pins on a same probe is so small that you do not have to worry about the current and the voltage contact positioning during manipulations: no matter how the contacts are placed on both sides, it will work just the same.
