XDP-II, Portable Partial Discharge Recorder and Diagnostic System

The XDP II is a portable device for, online, factory and laboratory partial discharge measurement on electrical apparatus, or components. The XDP II can be used in accordance to IEC 60270. It records partial discharge measurements for computer analysis and diagnostic using the optional XDP II software for a PC. Using the appropriate accessories, the XDP II can be used in several applications.

ULD-40 - Ultrasonic Corona/Arcing Detector

The ULD-40 is an ultrasonic detector designed for corona and arcing inspections for predictive maintenance in electric utilities. Corona effect occurs when electricity is discharges into the surrounding atmosphere form a high voltage source. Corona effects and electrical arcs in the air emit ultrasounds. The role of the ULD-40 consists of capturing emitted ultrasounds and of translating them into the audible range. This equipment is perfect for high voltage maintenance program.

ART-3D, Transformer Turn Ratio Instrument

The ART-3D series are precision instruments, designed to measure turn ratios, phase displacements, excitation currents of single phase and three phase power, distribution and instrument transformers in conformity to the IEEE C57.12.90 & IEC 60076

WRT-10D, Winding Resistance Tester with Demagnetisation Circuit

The WRT-10D is a High performance & High accuracy winding resistance tester, this unit has a built in Demagnetisation circuit to automatically or manually, demagnetize the transformers and avoid situations where the Current Transformer could cause the protection circuits to trip when re-energizing.

Insuleak (Pneumatic testing of cable insulation)

The Insuleak system redefines the standard of testing cable insulation. This product has been designed by Hydro-Québec due to a broken cable after is installation. That situation was discovered after an explosion in a manhole. Now, after each installation, cables are tested before energising. The Insuleak is an unique process of injecting air pressure in the core of a cable and look for pressure change over the time. This system is the best and the most efficacy piece of equipment for underground network.

The NDB-DOC is a test instrument designed for distribution networks transformers from 10kVA to 2500kVA. It can determine the presence of short circuits or an open circuit in the distribution transformer primary winding & also short circuits on the secondary winding. The NDB-DOC is designed to be operated from an arial device or from the ground at the end of a hot stick without disconnecting the transformer’s secondary windings.
